SUMMARY:8th Annual Wooden Boat Parade
DESCRIPTION:I once again have the pleasure of formally announcing the 
 annual Wooden Boat Parade. The original parades started some time in t
 he late 1920's or 1930's. You can partake in the modern version yourse
 lf.\nDrift boaters need to bring their boats to the Finn Rock Landing 
 boat launch site early enough to get their vehicles shuttled (for free
 ) and have their boats ready to float by 10 AM. \n\nWe then float as 
 a group down to Eagle Rock Lodge. There the boats will be beached and 
 become part of the display at the 8th Annual McKenzie River Wooden Boa
 t Festival.\nAt the conclusion of the display we will transport your t
 railer down to the beach so you can retrieve your boat.\nWe need a cou
 ple of volunteers to drive garden tractors to assist in moving boats t
 o the lawn and trailers to the boats when the event is over. Contact R
