Hi Rick, this is a beautiful boat! Sorry to be so cluesless, but what is the vintage of this boat? I'm thinking double ender constant rocker, maybe early 1940's, but i really know nothing. Thanks in advance for teaching me about this type of double square ender, yours, tom

    Rick,

I love your boat. Did you design it? What are the specs? I currently row a 16' Tatman, but am trying to find a design for a pram / skiff style boat. Any info you can offer would be great.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jesse Ronnow

When you added the extra length, did you have to change any of the bevels? I would like to build about like that, but about 17' long. The issue I am concerned with is the bevels. Any thoughts?

    Cool. Thanks for the conversation.

Yea that's great country. I hunt the other side of that range (the Idaho side) for Elk. Do you ever take a day or so to get on the river?

Hi Rick - thanks for the book/plans advice. Have already bought the book, glanced at the Rapid Robert plans, now reading from the front toward the back. What a great book, its already helped me. With some drafting ability myself I want to use my own lines and using Rogers how-to. I want to install a jetski motor in my Rapid Robert - I think replanting that propulsion system will be a bigger challenge than the boat building. Will just take my chances I guess to see where the waterline will end up. If all goes well - in about a year? I won't need to think about the shuttle business any more - just remember to head UP stream when starting the day! I'm doing surgery on a 96 Yamaha 760cc now to remove its innards so I won't get the new hole the wrong size.. Thanks for your help. Don
