Thanks for the intel, Jonathon. I am exploring options and will keep you posted. I am certainly in favor of going this route. My boat is a restoration project and frankly, I want to get it in the water. I want it to look nice, but also want to be realistic about how much $ i put into it vs how much I paid for it, etc. I am also of the mindset that boats will take a bit of a beating, so i want the paint to hold up, but i won't cry if I get scratches, so to speak. Going the route of thinks like Toplac seem time and cost intensive , . . which if this was a boat I built from scratch, i would go that route. Now I want to get it in the water to fish.
