I'm a big kid who finally decided to work on Grandpa's old Nutshell Dinghy...Spent my summers in Westport, CT doing lots of things including rowing the boat and sailing it with Gramp. I want to get it back in shape...not sure where to start, or what method to use. This looks like the place to find out!!

    Glad you're here Mary,
    Please post a few photos of your Nutshell and I'm sure there will be plenty of response with advice on where to start.

    Have you given it a good poke everywhere with a small screwdriver? Any soft spots you find will likely be rot. That would be the first test.
