Built my Tatman with a boat partner in 1986. Fished til the early '90's then just stored it in the garage out of the sun. Bought out my partner, now Looking to replace the UHMW bottom with the new (to me) triaxial glass.
Hi Jerry,
Send me your private e-mail and I will be happy to reply with the information you are asking about.
My personal e-mail is (dliden@centurytel.net) and my phone is 253-884-4910.
Be prepared for a lengthy process as the wood has to be completely dry before installing repair plugs and fiberglass.
Regards
Dennis Liden
I had the Out West boat at that show in 2008 after meeting and talking with Roger Fletcher at a fly fishing show in Seattle. Every other boat that year was a vintage drift boat or a new, traditional McKenzie style boat, and I really felt out of place. I think they were looking for traditional examples, so I haven't been back. We have taken it to Depoe Bay one year and to the Wooden Boat Show at Port Townsend twice. I appreciate your kind comments!
