I'm in the process of putting a glass bottom on my boat as well. If you get a chance and you don't mind doing it, could you send me or post on my page a list of what you ordered from raka.com to complete your bottom. I called them but couldn't quite follow what he suggested. Thanks

The bolts are 1/4 stainless... the first couple took me a bit - but then I had a system going and got the rest in pretty smoothly. Let me know how it goes.
I have a 6hp Mercury and use it as you stated....motor up and drift back. It does not plane the boat due to the driftboat design, but moves it along fast enough. The motor has a 20" (longshaft) shaft. My motor has a 3 gallon external tank. If I had it to do over again, I'd get a 5hp 4-stroke with a internal tank to keep clutter (gas lines and tank) to a minimum. Pay attention to where your anchor is located. Mine is through the transom but does not interfere with the motor.
