Cool thanks.  I'm going to add the rubber but didn't have a source after Nott Atwater closed shop.  I put a pretty good hole in the side of my boat at Nevill's last month and want some additional chine protection.

Yeah I used a hand router for the top round over which went really easy. Then I sent it through the table saw at a 32 degree bevel. That part was not so easy! You want as many feather boards as you can put on there, two people, one pushing one pulling. I had to stop several times as the blade and rubber heated up. The saw was making some pretty terrible noises but it did work and as I see it the only way to really get it done. I asked Thunder Tech if they could cut bevels, they said no. So there was really no other way of doing it. I used Contact cement, but next time I would use Shore adhesive. I would also scuff the rubber on the glue side more. It has come loose in a couple places. Its an easy fix, just scuff and re glue but were I scuffed it well it is holding really well.

How did you adhere the rubber strip?  It also looks like you cut it at a bevel?

I bought it online from a company called Thunder Technologies. Its a Neoprene Rubber, 1 1/2" x 3/4" thick. Andy Hutchinson was the one who found this company, If you say you are using it for a chine protector they should know which one you are talking about.
