Hello, Does anyone know of a west coast supplier of Sapele marine plywood? Searches online only bring up east coast distributers. Hoping to save a little on shipping cost if I could find it closer to home. Thanks for any help! Kurt

http://www.woodfinder.com/ seems to be a pretty good source for suppliers. Also http://wood-veneer.com/ in Gooding, ID.

Crosscut hardwoods, Portland

Thanks Don, and Rick N for Crosscut and Bear Creek. Have called both to no avail. I am resigned to Homestead Lumber in Ohio. Actually the shipping costs from Ohio is not that much more than from what west coast suppliers would be.... so kind of pleasantly surprised.

Check out McBeth's. I was on their web site today and I thought I saw it available.

Thanks Rick and Gregg, much appreciated but no luck. McBeath's has Sapele with MDF core for cabinets but no marine ply. Rick thanks for wood river veneer info, I might give him a call to see if he can get marine ply. Gooding Idaho.....who'd a thunk

Apparently McBeath's web site is a poor match for their inventory - I tried to get some Hydrotek from them and was told that it would be a two month wait. I got some from Edensaw in Washington - have you tried them?

Hi David, thanks for the info. Yeah I tried McBeath's last year for Hydrotek and got the same answer as you....none in stock. I looked on Edensaw's website and saw only MDF core Sapele for cabinets. But I plan to call them and hope they have marine grade. If not....my only choices so far are east coast suppliers, or Homestead which I think is in Ohio.

Kurt have you tried "Bear Creek Lumber" in Winthrop, WA?
