Jacob, if you provide us with some more details it would make it easier to sell it. What part of the United States are you located in? Do you have an idea of how much you want for it? Can you provide a better idea of the condition of the: outside wood, interior floor, seats, gunwales, stern, are there any oars with it, how about the trailer, the tires, is there any rust on the trailer frame and so on?

Will you travel with the boat to meet someone that wants to buy it? Any accessories that come with it? What is the condition of the frame members? Do you have any other pictures to share? Have you checked all the interior wood with an ice pick or something similar to see if there is any soft wood? Is there any fiberglass cloth on the interior or on the floor/bottom of the boat?

The more positive things you can tell us the greater the price you can ask. I have looked at a variety of used boats and the one picture you provided shows an older drift boat in reasonable condition, I have seen much worse and some a lot better.

Good luck with the sale of your boat. I hope that my comments help you out.

Rick,

I’m in North Central Idaho. I’m not sure what the boat is with or what to ask for it. I started sanding it and getting it prepared for a rebuild but life happens and gets in the way so unfortunately I’m unable to complete it. I’ll take more pictures of it tomorrow and get them loaded on here.

Jacob, that should help folks make a decision. Visit Craiglist boat listing in Missoula, MT, Boise, Eugene, OR, Portland, OR and see what prices are being asked.

You can also visit: www.searchcraigslist.org/

Where you can also search the United States for wooden drift boats, or just Western States or Idaho or whatever. This would give you a sense of similar boat prices. Then adjust based on what you need to get out of it and put it out on the marketplace, here or Craigslist to see what happens.

Rick,

Is there a market place section on this site? I couldn't find it. After doing some looking around on the internet I think $500 would be reasonable price for the boat. I'll look at getting it out there on craigslist. Thanks

We had one but it didn't work well. Place it in the Blog Post section. There others in there. With over 2000 members perhaps you will soon find a purchaser. I haven't seen your boat first hand so I can't really make a accurate comment. The  marketplace will soon give you feedback.

Hi Jacob - did you see my friend request and chat message? I'd like to talk to you about your boat if you still have it.

I was able to accept your friend request but I didn’t see anything on the chat. I still have it. What would you like to know about it?
