Looking for any info from the wood boat people about what I might expect there, running currently 20,000, launching in 3 days and waters going up.

Jim, just talked with Larry. We had two people drop out, spots paid and food provided for. If you can book a shuttle and get to Sand Wash tonight or early tomorrow morning for a launch tomorrow morning, come on! Only catch is I get to row your boat some, since I'm building the same boat now!

The guy with the permit is from craig, he was looking at AccuWeather, but both the National Weather Service and Weather.Com really have it pretty nice.  I'm totally disappointed.  Hope you have a great trip. I'm still packed to go.

Hi Jim

Have not heard from you in a while.  Look like we will finally get to trade stories.  I have a Friday launch.  It's going to be different.

We ran it a few weeks back at 15 and it is was fun.  At fifteen most rapids were starting to was out.  I have a feeling we are looking at a lot of flat water.

Ran it last year running at 22,000.  Most every thing was washed out,  Hermit was big but not a scary pretty straight forward run left don't go in the big hole.   That was the only thing we scouted.  Didn't have to row to make miles water was moving so fast so that was nice.  Don't forget your rain gear, and a  extra bottle of whiskey.
