This year, as always, we will run the second weekend of August on The Colorado River somewhere between Pumphouse and Catamount. We will take this years festivities back to the riverbank and leave more camping room at Rancho for others to enjoy.

Saturday August 9th: Meet at Rancho del Rio @ 10:00 am

Launch 10:30 and float to Two Bridges (8 miles) with lunch along the way.

Optional Put-In/Take-Out at State Bridge mid way (4 miles)

Rancho del Rio can run shuttles (970) 653-4431

From Granby, I would drive to Kremmling then turn on Hwy 9 south towards Silverthorne and then turn right on Trough Road (county road 1, I believe) and drive 10 miles towards State Bridge and Rancho Del Rio is on the right.

Thanks for a fun time. Enjoyed the on river camping way more than last years activities. It was great to see you and yours again. Look forward to more adventures.

2014 CO WBF is in the books. Thanks to Ron and Jeff for joining in their wooden boats. A few rafts and a drift boat joining in for company. A few boats floated 28 miles over 3 days while others joined in for separate portions of the float. Camp was great, good to be back on the river and thanks to Ron for his extensive kitchen set up.

It only took 4 years but we had our 10th different boat on the float this year with Ron bringing his new decked dory and Jeff making his first trip with us.
