When I built my drift boat last year I finished the bottom with 2 coats of coat-it.  Pulling it out of the shed and inspecting I noticed that it had several spots along the bottom edges, where it receives the most hits, where it has worn through to the glass.  I want to add an additional coat(s)? to the bottom but am worrried about delamination.  Any suggestions?  Real bummer because I was going to take it on on the Tuck next weekend but have decided not too because I do not want to damage glass.  Thanks.
