Building two boats at a time is interesting.   Redundant.  Monotanous.  Constant deja vu. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have some enlisted help.   Putting bottoms on was especially non exciting.  But it's overwith.  Lot of work done and alot left to go.  Pretty easy builds however, and the boats are coming out as planned.

That's 1/2" fir bottoms, oiled, then 1/4" fir skid shoe.  A few pounds of bronze nails and goo.
