bow stem protection plate?

while attending the recent boat show I noticed that a few had bow stop protection plate. Some where uhmw and some stainless. My new baker trailer bow stop must be harder than my old trailers stop because it has dented my stem slightly.

Are these protection plates available for purchase or home fashioned?

here is a Stainless Steel Rub Strake that work good.

I prefer to put a white oak piece there instead. 1/2" thick works fine. On my trailer I put a nice rubber bumper where it hits.
