OK, wondering about micro fillets where the frame and side walls touch. Just a little 1/4" smoothing. Then im planning on painting the interior. Also thinking about doing the same to the chine log where it touches the side walls.

I remember reading that you dont glue the chine log to the frames so there can be some movement, So would adding these fillets to smooth things out be detrimental since it will add rigidity???

Your choice, you don't need it.  But it will make the next guys life miserable in some 30 years when he needs to replace a floor and chines.

After the first float and rainstorm, all those little edges will fill in nicely with some mud or sand.  haha.

Since you are painting, I guess it doesn't matter, perhaps a little bead of Sikaflex caulk smoothed out with your finger would work.

So what your saying is more time, more money and little benefit other then a slight visual appeal. I always forget about those things that drive you crazy during the build, then you forget once you get the boat on the water.

As always, thanks for the good reply Dave!!!
