2 layers of glass on the bottom, started coating the entire exterior hull with epoxy tonight. Looks good. Now some sanding. I was going to coat the entire boat with epoxy but I am thinking the inside should be oiled or painted with varnish alone. Any thoughts on what I should do? Also, do I cover all the epoxy with some kind of spar varnish for UV protection?

Stephen:  For lower maintenace oil the inside would be first choice, paint second choice but if you like to varnishgo for it.  Epoxy needs spar varniish to protect it from UV- several coats- otherwize the epoxy will start to break down and turn "milky"  I like Pettit Captains or Flagship  but any good varnish(not urathane) will do

Good Luck
