While waiting for The inside paint to cure, I thought I'd add my floor boards, before the seats and braces are in.  what makes the best floor?  I am thinking clear Cedar 1X6, looks good, light, bends easily.

TIA

I picked through a unit of 1X6X8Kiln dried Doug Fir today and found 6 good boards. All solid with a few pin knots, and no pitch pockets. Now to plane them down to 1/2" thank you all
Good Job Russ.
I prefer the 5-1/2" wide stock for floor boards. Where were you able to get 1x6 K.D. fir?

Mike;
It is net 3/4 X 5 1/2. I got them at Work, Parr Lumber, In Prineville, OR. If you live near a Parr, I beleive it is a stocking SKU at most yards (168KDDF)
Thanx Russ,
I do have a Parr nearby, for some reason I had not thought of checking them out. I am always looking for better deals on Materials.
Mike
