Hey Dreu,

Not sure which Mike this is directed at but I will offer my .02. I don't think it matters if you glass or not unless you are using Fir plywood. Glass even light weight will keep Fir from checking. The main concern is surface prep and a fair surface for a good looking finish. You can use either one of the two part fairing compounds or mix your own by adding fairing compound to mixed epoxy.
