"Highlights" of Snake River Boat Show - 2011

Thanks AJ and "crew"... a great time was had by all.  The weather, the boats, the river, the burgers, and the view - spectacular!!  My only regret is that we didn't get you in more photo's - you were too busy running the show behind the scenes... so, in a tribute to your Saxophone playing self, I picked one of my favorite Sax features of all time - the father/son Sanborn's in a tribute to Curtis Mayfield.  Hope you like the jazz and the little video - Randy took the shots, I took the video.  Thanks AJ - we had a GREAT time!!

Randy and Greg,

 

Thanks for a look at the show that I didn't get to see.  I love to see things that become obvious to me, through  the eyes of others.  You both have very good eyes. 

Hope you enjoyed your short stay in the Hole.  Glad you where able to escape through a very small window.  Floods, mudslides, avalanches,  that's spring time it the Hole sometimes.  Glad we had a 12 hour "sucker hole" in the weather to allow for such a good time at the show. 

 

And thanks to all the rest of you folks, Ray, Steve, Dan, Dave and Little Man, Todd Taylor and the shop kids from Jackson Hole High School, for making a special effort to attend.  It's not a show if nobody comes.

 

See you all next year or sooner.

We'll try to spend more time in "the Hole" next trip.  Many things in the area I'd like to see and do on the rivers.  Thanks again for the great hospitality!!!  You guys rock!!!

Thanks Jason... if you want one of these HD Contour camera's for your Michigan adventures - let me know.  If I list you as a "dealer", I can get you a $250 camera for $180... but I've only got 8 left.

Looks like a great camera. Christine actually picked me up a little Flip-HD camera not too long ago. No underwater for that one, but I am going to start using it on the river. I saw they make an all weather case for the Flip camera, we'll see how it works!

Great Job on the video, and the festival looks like it was a lot of fun.  I am going to do my best to make it next year.  Better get busy on the boat.

Thanks guys.... it was a great day and a great event.  I highly recommend attending next year - it was a lot of fun.  The Teton's provide a stunning back-drop on the Snake River.
