I've added a new feature on the right sidebar that will allow you to create a badge for you to place on your Facebook or Myspace page or you can copy the embed code to the badge on any website.

Click on the GetBadge link and follow the instructions to copy the embed code and place on your other sites. It shows people one of your interests and encourages other to join us here.

Have no fear, your badge will have your profile photo instead of my mug.

This doesn't seem to be working for me Randy and while not a technophile I'm not exactly computer illiterate either. When people click on the link in my Facebook page, it takes them to me for a couple seconds before redirecting to the Main Page.
Well, I am nearly computer illiterate and I'm having some trouble. My facebook page now tells people to visit my page on Wooden Boat People, but I don't have the nifty badge graphic anywhere. Other than the intellect to accomplish this task, what am I missing?
Yeah . . . I also don't have a widget on my page but just a link that'll be pushed down I guess.
This is because Facebook will not allow the nifty widget to be displayed because it is HTML. Similar to above. It defaults to a link. I guess there are a lot of Facebook/HTML issues. I'll look into a work around to post the nifty badge. If I find an easy way I'll post the directions.
The link seems to be launching your profile in a frame keeping Facebook live. That is why the re-direct I believe. Right now my link is trying a redirect and giving me an error.

I tested this with Sanderson's profile and it worked fine on an older 32 bit PC. Vista, or my Vista settings doesn't like the Facebook link.

The HTML code will work on any site that allows you to add embed HTML. Facebook will not unless you use one of the HTML embed code tools that support Faceboon.
