New interior paint for my RR

Solid "Vermont Green" inside didn't work out so well.  It was hot to the touch, and every rub and scrape brought the primer to the surface.  when I did "touch up" paint, it looked blotchy.  I know it's not traditional, but here is what I came up with.

Russ:  Many boatbuilders stay away from darker colors especially on interiors for just that reason.  Light grays, beige, cream.  The current build will have Kirbys #19 blue-very light.  What kind of paint?  I don't use primer- just a thinned mix of the top coats.  Your solution to the problem is "thinking outside the box"-and it will hide the fish blood.

What brand paint are you guys typically using for the interior?

I used Rustoleum Door paint, it's oil based ( only oil I could find localy.  Would not use again.  the next one (if built traditional) will be oiled inside and out.

wild....that's for sure...and the only out there! pretty original.
