I met a guy recently who has a mill. He doesn't have a website but I will email him with this link to see if he is interested. Man I wish there was a way I could have that tree!
Mike--I can think of nothing better than the wood going to a boat builder such as yourself. I have no interest in profit, and will give the wood away, and and actually would cover costs to a reasonable degree if the tree were to go to a higher use. The tree was a constant in my life for 50 years. I was told sometime back that it was too green and that this September/October it would be seasoned. I would like to have someone look at it to confirm that is seasoned well. Tomorrow I will have photos and measurements taken. I am glad you have interest, and if you do, let me know how we connect outside of this forum. I live in Bend same as you.
