I was on my orchard-ladder picking a few remaining cherries last Friday when someone drove into the shop with an aluminum drift boat. He got out of his rig but boogied out of there before I could intercept him. Perhaps it was my sign that caused his hasty departure. If so, was he without humor? Was he offended? Was he nervious about being "caught and released?" Or was he simply using the area to turn around? I may never know.

My friend, Bill Girsch designed and presented me with the sign two years ago. He also painted the Alaska Rainbow about to slurp up the egg.  Both are pretty cool.
