I will be restoring my Keith Steele soon. This boat I originally restored in 1980 and met Keith Steele himself when I went to Leaburg, Oregon to get a new rope seat. At that time he told me my boat was "old enough to vote". After this I am toying with the idea of copying this boat and building a new one from scratch, because the design is still probably one of the prettiest and best handling boats I have rowed. But one of the things I have to learn is how to capture the mitres of the frames.
