With the approach of the boat show apon us I'm nearing completion of a wreck of a boat we picked up outside eugene last spring.Perhaps some of you in attendance last year remember a 16/48 with lots of rot ,a rotted transom, rotted chine logs,a very weathered varnished interior and a broken rail?Well she has had a complete recovery here in Jackson and will be returning to the mackenzie to enjoy many more hours on the water. Its been a very fun winter project with lots of experiments and should prove to be another fine vessel in our fleet.Look forward to the show and all the activities and will attempt some photos soon.

Look forward to seeing you guys back over here and look forward to seeing what you did with the boat. I'm thinking about coming over for the Memorial Day "gig" and fishing the Snake for a day or two. How long does it take you guys to make that trip (18 hours or so??)

Hey greg, more like 14 hours w stops...generally we're in the midst of runoff then so the fishin is usually pretty bleak then, but you never know.We got 6-10 in the valley last night on top of greening grass so we'll have to wait and see what "spring" brings us...
