Sawyer wood and fiberglass oars question

Hi, I bought a pair of sawyer 9' oars that need to have the handle replaced in one of them. Are there any instructions on how to do this properly? I also don't really know where to go to get the replacement handle. It slips inside the fiberglass shaft and over a smaller inner core. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just contact Sawyer (541 535 3606) and tell them exactly what oars you have, they can send you a new handle. Sometimes they have a little silicone around the top of the grip, but other then that you just have to remove the set screw and pull the handle out.
