So here are some new pics of the bpoat i've been building.  Problem is i am transfering to Kings Bay Ga.  Cant take it with me. i have 2 gaoolns of high grade slow cure epoxy, 12 yards or so of 8oz fiber glass, the oars, the seats, the backs, anchor, pole holders, anchor system and more.  i am looking to sell but only to someone who wants to put in the time to refinish this right,  If you are interested let me know.  i am going to try and take this down to the drift festival in april to get some opinions and such.  Any body interested in a great boat? Beautiful boat brother.  I hope mine turns out just close to your.  Question for you.  Your oars.  how long, and at what measuremtn does the wraps start and end.  Trying to get mine started. The wife if finishing up the oar carvings now. Pics to follow.

The oars are 8'6, sitka spruce, the wraps start about 24 inches from the end of the handle. I made them about 22 inches long and put the button about 29 inches from the end of the handle. Seems to work well, but will have to wait until we hit the river. Used carpet tape to hold the wrap which seem to work. Added some epoxy to the ends to keep them from moving.
