The obituaries today in our local paper (Grants Pass) had the mention of the passing of Virginia Pritchett she was 94. Not sure if this was Bob's wife but I'm thinking it is. The Pritchett family lives a few miles down the road from me and I was there a year ago looking at one of Bob's boats that his son in law had in his garage. The Pritchett's are well known in this valley with us old wood boat guys. I can't verify if this was her but I'm sure a few on this site will know. Roger?
It was the Virginia Pritchett I was thinking about. Todays paper had a longer Obituary telling her story. Glad to see her recognized in our local paper. I wrote to the editor hoping they will print a full story of her and Bob in our paper.
Bob was a great guy. Met him 35 years ago. I used to buy resin and fiberglass cloth from him. If you needed information on wood boats he had the answer or new who you could contact. His shop is in the family. I think his son in law runs the shop now.
