Compared to some of the boats I have seen built on here, mine is pretty poor, but it is mine.  Thanks to all for the help and the invaluable information.  I have a few little rigging things to do yet, but essentially it's done.  Now, what one do I want to build next ? :-)

Russ looks good. Where will you use her?
Russ,

I think your boat looks great. Don't sell yourself short! Get it out on the river!
Great job Russ. It looks good and it's going to create a ton of fantastic memories. I'm looking forward to hearing about those too.
I choose function over form. From your pics, I'd say you captured both. Nice job. Curious how most peoples Rapid Robberts perform with an outboard on the back.
Thanks for the kind words. Her Maiden trip will be on Ochoco Res. I hve never rowed a Drift boat boat before, and only ridden in Drift boat once, figured I'd learn in some still watter. Mostly (for now ) I'll use her on the John Day. I know the section from Twickenham to Priest hole well, used to hunt ducks and Geese out of a kayak. I hope to one day float from Kimberly to Cottonwood.
Again thanks to all for their help.
Russ: Great job on boat- you will be getting compliments when you launch it. Just remember to have a little christening party with a little Merlot or Coors to splash on the bow. (not too much)
Good Luck, How do you keep a clean shop?
Russ,

Congratulations, and I hope a trailer rolls in sooner than later for you. Very nice man. Mine is still a stack of plans on my desk.

I am currently working on a plan to get my garage heated so I have a place to work. I see the propane powered heater in the corner behind your boat. How cold does it get at your place and how well does the heater work?

I didn't think about trying to cure glue in cold weather when I ordered boat plans. My employment is seasonal and very busy in the summer, so winter is the only time I have to work on a project like this. Got to get my space heated first.

Again, congratulations on your build.

Ron
Ron;
they are predicting -9 here tonight. the shop I built it in is a 16' X 24' pole barn that I insulated and sided the inside walls. There is a 8' X 8' roll up door in the end that i added 1 1/2" ridgid insulation to. so it is pretty tight. I usually don't turn on both heater " heads " because it gets to hot in there.
