Just stacked a bunch of kiln dried walnut gun stock blank scraps; all different grades. Most have small imperfections and or voids in them, make beautiful oar lock blocks and knee braces. I am offering them to all who pm me with dimensions and pay shipping cost, not too expensive on US MAIL pack and ship boxes. Some fiddleback, straight, burl, color strand. Jay

Hey Jay, not sure if you got my earlier message. I am restoring an old trapper and would like some pieces for the knees and oarlocks. but I don't have dimensions yet so maybe 4 pieces 6x6  or a little bigger. just let me know how much, im in the portland area also 97267.

Ok, yes I did get your note and tried to respond, ill get going on it

The shipping cost is in at $12.35 anywhere in the states; Craig, sent You a request. Jay

Jay, i got the wood today. Thanks so much. Looks like a few of those pieces should work perfectly for oarlock blocks. Im still debating wether to do metal side mounted oar sockets or not but these should be strong and look sharp.
