Does anyone out there recognize what the make and year of this boat is. I aquired this freebie for the cost of gas to pull it out of the weeds from a friends lot. There is a plaque on the dash that says Lyman "klinker built" But this is not klinker built construction. It is plywood construction. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

hmm... Lyman was pretty famous boat I believe. Not too many plywood boats though... there is at least one on this page, the rest are lapstrake >> Lyman Brokerage
What a coincidence - my folks just bought a lyman in Cleveland and I wanted to send them a congrats gift - and I ran across the website that Stephen posted below (and here - www.lymanboat.com) - the guy who runs it is probably pretty responsive to questions or could head you in the right direction.
Thanks for the info but I have it narrowed down now. It is a Chris Craft Barracuda. I am working on the year now, either a 56,57,58 or 59. It was a kit boat so I bet some one used a registration for a Lyman at some point to make it easier to register. I'll get to the bottom of this :-)
Looks like you got a pretty sweet little vintage trailer too - nice find!

Yeah its a Tee-Nee trailer.

This should turn out to be a fun winter project. The Ribs are 100%

So replacing the plywood and deck wood won't be too bad.
