Hello WBP
I've got a new little "obsession" to add to my old "obsession".... I found a 1952 Coleman Lantern in an Antique store for $9.99. I offered $7 and bought it for $9 - I'd have paid $20 (maybe not).
After a lot of rubbing and scrubbing a new gasket and mantle...
It cleaned up pretty nicely... now - if only I hadn't given away my Custom Made Oar Stand to a good friend that admired it at the McKenzie Boat Festival - his initials are Darryl Lyons... (I've been tinkering on weekends - and built a new one from boat "scraps")
It all comes together... I hadn't heard the soft "hiss" from an old Coleman in many years - can't believe it took me this long to figure out a great addition to my wooden boat.

Let's think about 9/30. Couple of options, take wood boats and float or my sled and serious fish!!

That tent is made by my friend David Ellis over in Durango, CO...Cowboy Camp
I HIGHLY recommend his tents and bedrolls. Both are awesome - high quality and very functional.
Tell him I said "hi".

Hey Jason - they're great tents and bedrolls... perfect for those chilly Michigan mornings - ha. Hope all is well. Looks like you've been having some pretty good summertime adventures.

Greg,
Things are going really well here in the mitten. Christine and I tied the knot this past Saturday, and we even had some spare time to get on the river and do some fishing.
Yes the mornings here can be a bit "brisk" on a November steelhead trip, looks like his tents would be up to the task.

Jason - that tent would have been a perfect place for the honey-moon... I hear it's called "glamping" - ha ha...
Take care - come back out and see us sometime.
