Wood Boats and Wood Nets

Just had to share a couple pics of my new wooden net. My fishing buds John and Kyle hooked me up with this custom net. Long handled boat net for trout fishing... with inlaid measurement dots and soft rubber netting. It's a great match for the boat, and I thought really cool for the fellas to think of doing that. We will have to put some fish in that net, and into the boat this coming year.
I attached a few pics of the net. Pretty cool I thought.

Nice net. Those long handled nets are great for boat fishing. I still have one that a friend made for me with a 40" handle. Works great.

And Mike,
They do make one a size up from this, but it would be iffy to use for anything bigger than smaller sized steelhead.
I think this is the perfect size trout net.
