I took a 16 footer plan from Roger Fletchers book and stretched the design.  I added a 1X6 stringer the length of the boat. It is a hybrid design of my own......but hey thanks for the compliment on the Tatman.

Thanks. It rows very nice and was much lighter on the water than I expected.  My canoe does not spin as nice as this boat does. Checked out your picks and I remember the transom issue very well. Your boat looks great. I am reminded of many of my problems when I look at your pictures. Spira leaves a little bit to be desired but once you get so far it is too late to go back and you just go your own way.  good luck

The boat looks fantastic, man!   I've been looking forward to seeing it complete.  Seriously nice work.  Gets me excited to finish mine.  :)
