I have been looking at the various boats on the website and yours is incredible! Is it a Tatman? Which plywood is that? I am thinking very seriously about building the 17X52 and making it convertible. About how long did it take from start to finish??

Absolutely correct... your memory is in-tact. This is the boat as it was coming together... as you can see from my "garage shop" action photo's, I did a lot of improvising.
Hope you are making progress - the rain has moved in and the rivers are rising... time to do some "off-season" repairs... and I have a pretty good list. I ran the boat really hard this year.
Post some pictures of your progress - let me know how I can help.

Greg - Is this a photo of the other boat before it was put together? Come to think of it, I remember talking with you at the McKenzie boat show last spring... you were telling me about the wood accents you added on the chine where it meets the frames... I just noticed that detail in another image of yours and I remembered that little detail. (Either my memory serves me correctly - or I just imagined that! haha)

Thanks Chris. It's an 83... it was my "project" before the boat...
Welcome to the "blog"... good luck with your "Tatman" project - let me know if you get stuck with anything... would be happy to help.
