good answers... you pass the quiz! haha
Definitely a sweet looking boat. and like you said a really stable platform to work from.
I am assuming this is a Baker original design?
Hey Jason,
Lets see if I can answer the quiz in order.
6H.P.
25H.P.
Don't know.
300 lbs.
To elaborate, using the Coast Guard formula she will handle 30 H.P. so I went conservative with 25. She should plane very quickly but have not tried a bigger motor yet. I think it will row like a pig (or more like a wide row boat) but thats not what I built it for.

I am thinking that boat would motor sweet up river here on some of our larger/wider rivers... I was curious to see how it would row back down... let me know how you testing goes. What size outboard were you running? What size do you think will max it out? does she get on plane quick? what do you think the dry weight is without the motor? Bet you didn't think you would be taking a quiz today!?! hah
Hey Jason,
Thanx, I can't really say how it rows because I have only used it with the outboard so far. It motors very well, draws hardly any water and because it is 54" wide is incredibly stable. The only negative is it didn't catch any fish!
