Thank you all for you comments. Regarding my UHMW bottom, I chickened out on just screwing it around its perimeter and added screws into all the frames. While I was doing that, the sun came out for a few minutes. The amount of expansion of the the UHMW plastic was quite amazing. I did not complete the job until it had cooled off.
