Thanks Jay. This boat was under cover for most of its life and seems to be in good shape. I just brought it home yesterday and have not had the chance to check it all out yet, but I can only assume that there will be some soft spots that need repair. I hope to bring it down to the Wooden Boat Parade. I should have a good idea of the condition by then and will be seeking advise on how to best address the repairs. It is a great boat and I am grateful to my 92 year old friend Gordon for passing it along to me. He has many stories of fishing this boat on the north fork of the Toutle before the eruption took away his cabin.

very nice boat, I have one like it but mine needs serious work, great idea with the anchor rope making a tarp ridge. Will you be bringing it to the wooden boat parade?
