I just posted some rough dimensions on another photo so let me know if your looking for something specific.  As for materials, everything but the dowels is African Mahogany.  The dowels are Maple.  I chose the mahogany because I got a good deal, it is rot resistant and not overly heavy.  I chose the maple because I wanted a contrasting color and it was the only species my local woodcraft had that was light in color.

I did just mill up all my frame lumber, Alaskan Yellow Cedar, and if your looking to really keep the weight down you could use that or Port Orford Cedar.

what kind and sizes of wood did you use on this? I am exploring options for my own boat rebuild project.

Thanks

Sam
