Hi Casey, I used Douglas Fir for the frames, floor sections, inside of the transom, ash and cherry for the stem, I used white oak for the chine logs, top rails (inside/outside) seat benches, knee lock board(dash), outside chine caps, transom trim and bow nose trim, I used Okume 1/4" plywood for the sides, 3/8" for the bottom, 6oz glass for the out sides, 12oz biax glass on the bottom, lots of west system epoxy, some cherry, walnut and mahogany here and there. I made the oars out of Douglas Fir with walnut stripes, tipped the ends with ash
