Here is Ron Hayes rowing the Betty Boop through Crystal in 1970 on her third trip through the Canyon. Dad never flipped the Betty Boop, but he came very close many times. She just loved to stay upright, and the tall compartments made it hard for the River Gods to get a good grip on an edge.
