Dad took two passengers down the Canyon on a Martin Litton trip in 1970. The one with the can=mera is Tim Consadine, who was "Timmy", one of the original Mousketeers in Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Club; and the other was Arthur Franz, a well-established actor in Hollywood. One may always tell that this is the first trip, because it was the only trip where he had a camera mount on the tip of the bow, which is clearly visible in this shot. Dad put it there for Tim, but he did not like it, so it was gone by trip #2.Securing the hatches was a challenge for dad: notice the old school cable ski binding holding the rear hatch closed!!! Lucky he never flipped, right?!
