In 1970 Ron rowed the Betty Boop through Grand Canyon numerous times with Martin Litton. This image in Crystal (when it was a lot nastier than it is now) made it to an advertising agency. This image is now epoxyed into the forward hatch lid of the newly restored Betty Boop, which is fitting.
