Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your comment. Yes, the boat is black. Again, I was so impressed by the appearance of Robb Sipler's boat that I painted our boat black. I used two coats of Interlux Easypoxy. Under that is laminating epoxy which I am not sure is necessary. I did a poor job with the epoxy and there are many surface irregularities visible up close. I plan to grind them away if I live long enough. But first, I am going fishing with my son.

That is a handsome and very striking boat. My computer's monitor has a hard time discerning its color for certain. Is it black?
