This is a great photograph. I've talked to a lot of people about stacking boats and they just have a hard time imagining it. Thanks.

Mike,
We would slide the boats back and let them tip up. Then we would slide each one out of the stack over the transom as some would call it. Loading was just the opposite. We would use an aluminum pipe as a roller to slide the boats forward as they were loaded. The tough part was picking up the back ends to winch them on the trailer. We had stacks as tall as 6 boats. The 5th and 6th boat had to be lifted up over the side. That was a bugger as you had to have a couple of guys up on the stack to help put the boats in the right spot. Lots of fun...... I was actually looking for a picture of a 6 boat stack when I found that one.

Cool picture Herb,

I've seen em like this on the Rogue before many times, but they always had them stacked on a trailer like this with a big box built around the boats so they can lift the top three and pull the bottom one out. How do you unload a setup like this?

Mike
