This design didn't have an inside chine. I attached the plywood to the outside chine with stainless screws. The bottom plywood piece is also connected to the outside chine. I know now that this design is a little backwards but that is the way the plan told how to do it.

Nice work. that is a cute little boat, looks like a pleasure to row. I was wondering wondering how you attached the chine. did you screw form the inside or are those rivets?
