- I've built several wooden boats - canoe, Don Hill drift boat, and various skiffs. I've also gone through (most of) the West Lawn School of Professional Yacht Design and have designed an inshore/offshore 25-28+ ft boat that's suitable for offshore, camping, etc (dubbed the Great Alaskan). See website. There are around 15 of these built now in various places around the planet, mostly in Alaska and Oregon.
