Chris, it sure would be fantastic to have that boat at the Wooden Boat Festival some time. It's once a year each year the last Saturday in April. This year it's April 27th.
I'd also like to see the lines of that boat. Greg, there were a number of boats built in 1972 by Keith for the Canyon that are like the Betty Boop that Brad restored and documented on his blog. They were decked McKenzie River boats with the arched decks. This boat has the lower deck of the Briggs boats. It was taller as Brad mentions so I think it could be a sized up McKenzie which would make it very much like the boat that Mike Baker just made for Robb Grub.

Hi Chris, Post a pic of the Diablo II. I re-built the original Portola (which was re-named Diablo Canyon by Martin Litton in the early 70's) and ran the Canyon last spring. Wondering if these boats are at all similar.
