Profile Information

Hometown:
Port Lavaca, Texas
About Me:
Grew up on the Gulf Coast and ended up in Oregon. Lived in Durango, Colorado for 7 years, and lived and worked at the Grand Canyon on their fire/rescue helitack. I currently live in John Day, Oregon. Have been paddling all kinds of stuff for about 16 years. Guided raft trips in Colorado and kayaked all the whitewater I could. Love doing different projects, and building a boat seems like a great idea. Starting on a 16' double ender with transom out of Fletchers book. Love the forum and the information.
Boats I own:
At one time or another all kinds of whitewater kayaks: play boats, creek boats, rafts, and a canoe. Now I own a 16' double ender with transom.
