- Like everything about the outdoors. Grew up in poverty and pretty much lived outside. Love everything in the natural world and can still find it on the water.
- Boats I own:
- Built 11 wood driftboats. Kept the last one for myself. It's a 18 ft. highsides double ender with motorwell. Made in 1983/4 at Corvallis Or. It's off the West plan/sketches. Also have 3 Rogue River Specials. All built by Jerry Briggs. A 1974 and a 1978 18 ft. (17 loa). The other is a 1959/61 16ft. (15 loa). The '74 is mint, the '78 is gently used and the '59 is for pattern (same as pink lady). Currently taking measures from a 1973 15ft. Wallace. The Wallace is yet another great rogue river special boat but has faded from memories into oblivion.
